Income Generating Program

About IGP

Empowering Households Through Sustainable Livelihoods

The Income Generating Program (IGP) by EDAS transforms vulnerable lives into self-reliant stories by equipping economically distressed families with productive assets. The program is independently designed to meet local demands—ranging from livestock and sewing machines to rickshaws and fishing boats—offering pathways to sustainable income and long-term dignity.

In 2024, 150 families were supported through IGP across Bangladesh’s host and Rohingya communities. Over 750 individuals now benefit from steady earnings, better food security, and improved well-being—especially trauma-affected, widowed, and women-headed households.
