আজ ৯ জুলাই, Education Development and Services (EDAS) এর ঢাকা অফিস পরিদর্শন করেন জাপানের Sasakawa Foundation-এর একটি ৪ সদস্যের প্রতিনিধি দল।
সফরকালে EDAS-এর প্রজেক্ট ডিরেক্টর মো. শহীদুল ইসলাম প্রতিনিধি দলকে সংস্থার সার্বিক কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে অবহিত করেন। বিশেষ করে শিক্ষা, ইয়াতিম কল্যাণ, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, নারী ক্ষমতায়ন এবং রোহিঙ্গা ক্যাম্প ও হোস্ট কমিউনিটিতে পরিচালিত বিভিন্ন মানবিক কার্যক্রম তুলে ধরা হয়।
আলোচনায় উভয় পক্ষ চলমান মানবিক কার্যক্রম এবং ভবিষ্যৎ সহযোগিতার সম্ভাবনা নিয়ে মতবিনিময় করেন। সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত এই সফর পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক আরও সুদৃঢ় করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।
Today, July 9, a four-member delegation from the Sasakawa Foundation, Japan, visited the Dhaka Office of Education Development and Services (EDAS).
During the visit, Mr. Md. Shohidul Islam, Project Director of EDAS, briefed the delegation on the organization’s overall humanitarian and development initiatives, with a particular focus on education, orphan care, skills development, women’s empowerment, and programs implemented in the Rohingya camps and surrounding host communities.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on ongoing humanitarian efforts and explore potential areas for future collaboration. The cordial visit is expected to further strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between the two organizations.
